I'm back!

I started this blog a year ago and never got any further than, well... starting! Actually posting to my blog is my goal this year!

We started our school year in August. This year we are studying countries and cultures via Expedition Earth from Confessions of a Homeschooler. We are really enjoying learning about different countries. We actually are almost through Asia but I am going to try to recap some of the highlights that I actually took pictures of! :-)

So, here we go!

Just getting started

Welcome to my new blog. I used to blog... before I started using Facebook. I decided I wanted to get back into blogging and decided what better way than to start with a new blog. A blog where I can chronicle our homeschooling journey. I chose the title "Along the Way" because I feel like I am on the journey - a journey to follow Jesus in all that I do and a journey to grow in my relationship with Him and as a person. Along the way... I happen to be a wife, a mom & a homeschooler of my 3 children. I hope this blog will help me write down some of our homeschooling journey. So many similar blogs have helped me over the past year, giving ideas, advice & encouragement. I'd love to share some of what we're doing and give credit where credit is due. Might be a bit of a rough start as I try to figure out what in the world I'm doing, but it'll just be another thing to learn & grow in... along the way...
